BitCloud API: Unify model access and manage every call

Working with multiple models means coordinating interfaces, channels and usage rules. Explore how BitCloud API organizes model access, access control, request routing and usage records.

BitCloud API software workspace concept

Connecting an application to multiple model services involves more than request URLs. Model capabilities, interface parameters, channel configurations, access permissions and billing methods can all affect the outcome of a call.

BitCloud API is a platform for multi-model access and call management. It brings model access, access control, request routing and usage management together, helping teams connect business applications to model services and review call and cost records.

Organize models and channels first

The model catalog provides information about capabilities, input and output types, and pricing. Channel configurations organize the actual access methods and routing conditions. Teams need to maintain the relationships between models and channels to create service configurations that applications can call.

A model appearing in the catalog does not mean that an available channel exists in the current environment. Before integration, check model information, channel conditions and the scope supported by the deployed version separately.

Handle interface differences through a common entry point

BitCloud API adapts request and response formats and routes requests according to channel capabilities and routing rules, handling standard responses, streaming responses and failed calls.

A common entry point helps organize integration, but models may still differ in context limits, parameters and response behavior. Retries and channel switching also depend on configuration, alternative channel availability and request compatibility. This does not mean that every model is interchangeable or that every failure can be recovered from transparently.

Connect access rules with usage records

Teams can manage API keys, users and group configurations, define usage scope for different callers, and maintain the relevant settings through the console.

Usage, cost and call records support routine reconciliation and troubleshooting. When an issue occurs, teams can examine records for the specific model, channel and call to understand what happened and which configurations need further investigation.

Understand calls and costs by service type

Text calls typically involve request parameters, model capabilities, and standard or streaming responses. Video generation also involves task creation, status queries and result retrieval, with additional requirements for duration, resolution and media inputs.

Services may therefore be billed by tokens, video duration or other configured dimensions. Costs and task settlement should be checked against the rules for the model, channel and service in use. Different calls cannot all be treated as a single processing pattern.

Choose the entry point that fits your needs

BitCloud API is software for model access and call management. The Token platform is the entry point for using existing model services. To use those services directly, follow the product page to the Token platform. For enterprise integration or deployment, discuss the specific requirements.

When discussing integration needs, describe the application type, target models or channels, calling method, expected workload and deployment environment. Available modules and interfaces depend on the actual version, configuration and account permissions.
